Hi everyone, I am having a really odd issue with my focus I hope someone can maybe shed some light on. I have a diesel mk3 focus with start/stop and keyless ignition Since December the car has had a drained battery and has had to be jump started to get going. Something slowly draining it as it kept happening.

The cruise control buttons are connected to the SASM (Steering Angle Sensor Module) which communicates with the BCM and other modules over the CANbus network. The following schematic is of a USA Focus MK3.5. I suspect this schematic to be the same for the European Focus MK3.5 but I never checked. Wiring colors may be different.
Open the bonnet. Unscrew the filter housing fastening bolts. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. Be careful to avoid damaging spark plug wires.Remember the sequence of the spark plug wires connectors. Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug wells. Unscrew the spark plugs.
The digital speedo is in the firmware and not the hardware. The MK3 and MK3.5 instrument clusters are technically the same hardware wise. It's the firmware that is different between the two. A MK3 cluster can be upgraded to a MK3.5 just by flashing firmware and nothing else. Quote.
