Agreed Get the EXC for the fendor for Euro Stype, turn signals for something less easily broken, minor smog/exhaust mods to your preferencerejet, regear and you have a plated xc-w equivalentto your earlier question..neither 450 is the equivalent to a drz for longevity/ability to absorb miles /

Itraded my YZF for an EXC. In a short drag race, your YZF450 will probably beat either the 525 or 450 EXCs. Both the KTMs have much higher top end due the extra gear. The 525 has a lot of torque compared to either of the 450s. You can lug the 525 in situations that either of the 450s will cut out. 50. This bike is absolutely awesome. It is great off and, on the road, is a very capable sport tourer. The power and pick up of this bike (specially in Sport Mode) will have you screaming. The stability and handling on twisted roads is nothing less of amazing thanks to the semiactive suspension system. .
